સોશિયલ મીડિયા પર જે ધમધમ ધૂરંધર માટે ચાલતી હતી ત્યારે ધૂરંધર જોઈ નહોતી એટલે ત્યારે  લખવું ઉચિત નહોતું લાગ્યું .જોયા પછી ખ્યાલ આવ્યો કે દર્શક શું જોઈને ટંકશાળ પાડે છે. જો કે એકતરફ ટંકશાળ અને બીજી તરફ માછલાં ધોનાર બંને પાર્ટીની ખોટ નથી. સોશિયલ મીડિયા અને કેટલાક વર્તુળોમાં ‘ધૂરંધર’ ફિલ્મને ‘પ્રોપેગેન્ડા’ કહેવામાં આવી તે સામે, રામગોપાલ વર્માએ કડક પ્રતિક્રિયા આપી. એક ઇન્ટરવ્યુમાં તેમણે કહ્યું કે ‘પ્રોપેગેન્ડા’ શબ્દનો ઉપયોગ સામાન્ય રીતે તે લોકો કરે છે, જેઓ કોઈ ખાસ દૃષ્ટિકોણને સ્વીકારી શકતા નથી. “જો કોઈને લાગે છે કે આ ફિલ્મ પ્રોપેગેન્ડા છે, તો તેમને શાંતિથી બેસવાના બદલે પોતાની ફિલ્મ બનાવીને તેનો જવાબ આપવો જોઈએ. સિનેમા પોતાનો મત વ્યક્ત કરવાનો એક માધ્યમ છે, અને દરેક નિર્દેશકને પોતાનું પક્ષ રજૂ કરવાનો સંપૂર્ણ હક છે.” રામ ગોપાલ વર્માએ એ પણ કહ્યું કે બોલીવૂડ માટે ‘હોરર’ એટલા માટે છે કે  આ ફિલ્મ તે મેકર્સ માટે ડરામણી છે, જેઓ માનતા હતા કે દર્શકો પોતાનું ‘દિમાગ ઘરે મૂકી’ ફિલ્મ જોવા આવે છે. ‘ધૂરંધર 2’ એ તે ‘ઉડતા હીરો’નો યુગ ખતમ કરી દીધો છે, જે હીરો ક્યારેય ઘાયલ થતા નહોતા. રણવીર સિ...
